Pochetino will fail at Chelsea for the same reason he failed at PSG.

He’s a project manager that develops players. The players and/or fans will get him sacked before he can turn them around.

Same scenario.

Is he. He’s a one dimensional manager IMO and has no in game management or alternative tactics.
Defined for me by that CL final. Never turned up. Likewise his League cup final with Chelsea and FA cup semi final against same team.
Doesn’t do expectation and loses dressing rooms with his mechanical approach.

I swear some moron from that board saw that article about the Chelsea players being unfit because of Tuchel and they might think Poch will get them fit, lol.

And yet i remember some people wanting him here.

Spurs fans actually grew tired of his turgid football and one dimensional approach.

He got plaudits early on for his work but if we’re real here his biggest success was finishing second with Spurs. He never won a trophy and even the European final he made he only got out of the group stages because Inter capitulated and lost to PSV at home on the final day of the season and Barcelona played a second string squad.

Absolutely nobody as a manager.

i’d genuinely laugh if they go and get poch because it will show they have learned precisely nothing.

I really want him back at spuds. Manager who has never proven anything in the transfer market with an owner who doesn’t do them.
Match made in heaven.

If they get him, it would prove utter brain rot.

Boehly seems to want a manager that will build a team rather than get someone for a short term fix.
But there’s no way he is going to invest more than a billion in players to wait several seasons to see his club start to challenge for the title.

He’s an owner who can’t keep his nose out of the footballing side of the club and as long as he continues to interfere then Chelsea will only challenge for top four rather than the title.

An ideal scenario would be Pochettino to Chelsea and Potter to spurs, although it’s more likely that someone like Enrique will go to spurs and Potter will end up at West Ham.

If he is that kind of an owner, he would not get rid of Potter at all.

Would very much be in line with Todd’s current decision making to just give the job to Kompany because he’s had a promising season at Burnley.

trying to replicate what we did with Arteta maybe?

This is the problem, he likes the idea of having a long term manager but without having to wait.
Boehly might be the biggest spending owner in the PL but luckily for all the other clubs, he is also the most impatient and interfering.

Can cross one name off the list.
