Cesc Fabregas

Nah haha

I don’t ever want to hear about no Silva, don’t ever want to hear about no Mata, don’t want to hear about Ozil either.

I’ll hear about De Bruyne, maybe. But probably not.

He played a lot as striker that season tho. Since, when was he not, van Persie was injured a lot and there was no back up. That might have inflated his numbers a bit .

I never remember cesc starting as a striker for us, just curious, not challenging you that you’re lying more I cant remember. Link some games, I remember arshavin as a striker a few times eduardo/rvp was Bendtner there that season or on loan?

I find myself watching cesc videos on a weekly basis, his range of passing is disgusting

Yea Arshavin is who I remember being a misplaced striker, not Cesc. Cesc was on peno duty though.

Well just want to make absolutely sure that you’re aware of the fact that not a single person gives a shit about any of this

Thinking about it he might not have been on paper indeed.

I remember Cesc being moved into the number 10 in the 4-2-3-1, to make him the focal point of everything, maybe that’s what he means??

“They work the ball more quickly, more accurately than any team in this league”

Ahhh those were the days, now we don’t do anything well at all. Like, literally :joy:

you’re maybe thinking of the Euros 2012 iirc they played like a 4-6-0 without a striker but Cesc up front a bit ahead of Xavi, Iniesta, David Silva and probably Xabi Alonso and Busquets or something.

The amazing thing about that game was we had Senderos, Flamini and Eboue in defence and yet managed to keep a clean sheet against a Real Madrid attack that included Zidane, Ronaldo, Robinho and Raul as well as Beckham and Carlos, to be the first club to beat them at the Bernabeu.

What’s up with everyone having a hard-on for this guy?
Is it that goal against the Scum? Is it that brace against Villa? Was it his pinpoint long passing?
Triggers the shit out of me that when you google him nowadays you get him mainly in the Chelsea top.
