One of the greatest we’ve ever seen for Arsenal.
Massive loss, but I believe we have the right management to rebuild.
Good luck Jenks

When he takes his forest shirt off he will have an Arsenal one underneath.
Finally, and on a permanent deal too ,good luck to him.
He even won an FA Cup with his boyhood club. Real Hollywood stuff.
Finally, years to late but I can’t believe this day has finally arrived.
Sobbing…
Wow. The day we never thought would come. Jenks is epic, wish him the best.
Also: Ruthless Raul shows no mercy when cleaning up
Hahaha he actually left? Feels surreal.
I suspect the transfer fee paid by Forest was nominal so they could afford his wages. No way he stays with us for 4 years because of the outrageous salary we were giving him, only to take a pay-cut and leave one year before his deal ends. EDIT: £2m fee and a sell-on clause? Fucking hell what a deal we got!
Weirdly, I bear the guy no ill will despite leeching a living off the club for years. Any other player I would fucking hate.
Fare thee well, Corporal. Godspeed to you.
With a sell on clause, how’s that possible? mah man Rauuul, that is enough.
Amazing he lasted this long but won’t begrudge him and wish him well , he fulfilled his childhood dream for a very long time and thanks to the foolishness of those running the club was very well compensated in doing so.
Can’t blame him in eating off a contract that wasn’t forced on the club, with that said big up Raul and Co now that he’s truly gone. It’s past due that we move on from such mediocrity, next up is Mustafi.
It should of been a buy back
3.5m with a sell-on clause,
I think he actually deserved more game time last season ahead of Lichsteiner. There’s no way Jenks wouldn’t have at least offered us more of an engine on the right than a guy with totally shot legs.
He can still count himself a bit unlucky when Niles and Lichesteiner and Mustafi all were underwhelming and poor in that position.
Says more of Jenks abilities imo
His finest hour, his magnum opus
Jenks gave a really good account of himself during his first loan spell at West Ham and gave us some solid performances. There’s no way he didn’t deserve a few more games than Lich and as @Stroller pointed out - Mustafi.
He was solid defensively in that game that’s for sure.
