I’ve said it before, these big money moves rarely work because of the pressure and expectation that comes with it.
I think he has playing well in 2021 and has been one of our better players so that’s what I want to see.
I do get where @SRCJJ is coming from. Saka has generational / starboy status but his composure right when you need him to deliver a decisive moment lets him down too much. A heavy touch, losing control of the ball or just keeping his head down.
He’s a huge talent and will be a big player for Arsenal, but he needs more time. His development needs to be protected a bit more. I wouldn’t say to Foden levels (who could have broken out sooner but Pep / squad competition delayed it) but it seems like Saka is going to play when fit irrespective of his form.
Arteta will wear his legs down to bloody nubs if it keeps him in a job and staves off the wolves.
It’s like taking to a wall here. . He has been better that when we first got here. I agree. I do not hate Pepe . I do not know they guy in real life . Why would I hate him lol. Like said he has to be the clubs best winger. I think even ESR if he plays on the wing offers more to the teams game. And Saka as much as you hate to admit . Is a level above And Pepe Being better than when he first got here is not a hard thing.
The posters around here are kinda slow LC, so ya gotta give them time until they come around to ur point of view. Took them months to understand how bad Arteta was after it was apparent last summer he was terrible. And they actually bought into all his phony coach speak at first and thought he was really instilling some sort of elite culture lmaoooo

Relying on Saka and ESR is what is wrong with this team. The experienced players should be heading the show. The youngsters are gonna have a ton of invisible games, that’s just the way football is. I won’t blame Saka and ESR for a thing as they need guidance from our knobhead coach and our experienced players who are appearing not to give a shit.
We would not have rely on either of them if the clubs 72 million pound player who is very protected on here by this weird fanbase was at least half decent.
Yeah one of the reason I am hard on Pepe is because he is one of the senior members who should be taking the burden away from Saka.
Let see how it takes up that responsibility this season.
