Bukayo Saka (7)

While I don’t believe Saka belongs to same tier but likes of Mbappe, Halland, Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar never concerned themselves of getting run down to the ground.
We are needlessly concerned about it.

You’ve basically listed generational greats who were clearly ready from a young age. Teenage Messi was torturing Manchester United at Old Trafford and scoring goals dribbling past 5 players at a time.

Haaland has some insane goal a game goalscoring record and Mbappe was a World Cup winner.

It’s not about whether it concerns the player, if you’re a football player you want to play every single week. It’s about doing what is best for a talent of his level. He isn’t a generational great, he is far far from that level of talent so it’s not the same.

We need to have two of Saka/ESR/Odegaard in the lineup at all times or we have no fluidity and ability to receive between the lines. Our best hope is that Odegaard, as the oldest and most mature in his approach to the game, establishes himself as one of the first names on the team sheet. And then we can rotate Saka and ESR while they continue to develop.

Yeah I know you don’t really, and that this is just generally in keeping with how you view younger players. I do think it’s come out a little harsh at times, but that may well be because one of the few bright spots in the side has been Saka (says a lot about our team and how we’ve played for a couple years) and I’m pinning everything on him inevitably becoming top class lol

“Fuck them kids.” — @SRCJJ , probably.

Lol at people on here having a agenda against the clubs best prospect. But defending a stats player like The clubs record signing Pepe who is an awful footballer

Your name in no way makes me think you might be a tiny bit biased.

Everyone has a player they fanboy over. You and the others need to let it go. Saka is england best wide player due to his work rate and creativity

Lol

Personally I’m happy to think both Saka and Pepe are very good.

Yeah we need to give game time to Pepe but we shouldn’t give game time to Saka who is twice the player Pepe is

Let what go, most people adore Saka on here, I think it’s just realistic to hamper our expectations of the young man before we burn him out and destroy him. If we are relying on Saka and ESR every single week then our recruitment has made a mistake. We need a balance of youth and experience to shoulder responsibility.

If you can’t think this there’s no point supporting Arsenal anymore tbh, or at least nothing to look forward to by supporting them :joy:

Involved in 4 goals yesterday though.

If that was Pepe when he’s bad then he must be insane when he’s good.

Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha.

I love you man.

Also only 2. If by involved you mean he was part of the play that’s absolutely incredible and I love you even more

You’re being more harsh on a 19 year old. Than a 27 year old who i the clubs record signing. I’m not going to twerk for a good game against a championship side lol.

No, I just give him credit when he deserves it.
He was a big threat yesterday, and he has been a big threat for us since he started getting more game time in 2021.

I did . But he needs to be that clubs best forward. Are you forgetting he cost 72 million. You are getting too defensive. You acting like Pepe is Mo salah lol. He is not even better than Saka who is 19 and came from the. Academy.
