Let’s just say his agent knows how to get what he wants.
Same one that gave us trouble with Balogun, got Nketiah on £100k pw and then got Chido a big contract at Man Utd.

Seems like about halfway through his current one, he gets a new bumper deal each time.
I suppose that means it probably has rumbled on as a story in the background for at least half that time, which is probably why I feel like that.
I honestly thought his last deal was more recent.
Think the criticism towards Saka lately is because he doesn’t score goals as much as he used to.
And he doesn’t assist much either. But I can’t blame him for that as people in the team need to score for that to happen.
Honestly even that is overblown. He’s often still our biggest threat going forward and if anything it’s a net positive that we have scored second most goals in the league and lead both PL and CL tables despite him being ‘out of form’.
Remembering the stress of it around that time whether we would get him to renew or not.
Where do our stars go if they’re looking to move? Liverpool, I’ll say it, are on a downward curve and I can’t remember one of our star players ever leaving us to join THEM; Man City have 115 over their head and post Pep there is an argument to suggest they are not a more attractive proposition than us, we can almost match their wage bill as well. That leaves the traditional European giants - Serie A is dead, Bayern are bigger but not more attractive than us. The giants of Spain will always be attractive to any footballer.
That’s a long winded way of saying bar Saliba (French and a Madrid target), who could get his head turned by PSG or Real, I’m confident that we get the best years of the likes of Raya, Timber, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Zubimendi and Saka and I’m fucking excited. I believe all are winning this years title away from being World Class players.
This is genuinely (if we get over the line) the most excited that I’ve ever been about the future of Arsenal and that doesn’t even consider Max Dowman and his potential.
If we can get a big trophy this season, I think it can be the start of a period of dominance. Pep may be done after this season and our core is still young. No other team feels nearly as equipped as we do to dominate the next few years.
His intelligence and strength are so underrated. He isn’t going to relentlessly attack the fullback like Madueke, but instead use his body and skill to glide past, inside or out.
and if we manage to fix our attacking woes, then I think we’ll be unstoppable.
It’s literally the only thing that’s been an on-going problem for a while, which I think by now all the clever clogs working in data/recruitment are aware of.
I remember Wrighty urging Saka to do what Hudson-Odoi did to Chelsea and squeeze us for as much money as he could.
It was ridiculous.
I don’t care about the numbers, but for me he looked even BETTER after the injury, on average, than before it.
His dribbling, how much trouble he creates in games etc… this is the best Saka I’ve seen yet. His dribbling first of all has become more refined imo. He’s constantly slowly improving.
I was looking at it the other day. Havertz is Saka best partnership when it comes to combining for goals.

Currently on 0 with Gyokeres and they’ve played 1000 minutes together
Preach, I said it a few times. Havertz makes Saka better.
Havertz knows where to be, and Saka knows where to find him.
Saka hasn’t connected with a striker like that since Auba. Glad someone made a comp about it.
I wanted to watch the video until that shit song started playing.
Where’s Benny Blanco in all of this?
