That main event was genuinely god awful. Probably outdid Elimination Chamber 2015 as the worst one menâs one yet.
The match in itself was incohesive and execution was so rough. And then to top it off we had not 1, not 2, but 3 interferences!
The WWE Title gotta be the worst booked title going at the moment.
Theyâre clearly making it as they go and it shows.

Saw that it was apparently 37 mins between Punk/Finn and the main event.. other than Danhausen popping out of a box surely they could have filled that with another match or two..
Remarkable how little wrestling there seems to be on these so called wrestling PPVs.
Funnily enough, Iâd argue if you turned the event off after Punk and Finn, youâd be better off.

Fuck it, Iâll go into spoiler territory.
Do you know how bad it is to have an EC with 6 men to decide the #1 for the WWE Title, and as soon as the match ends, you just know that person isnât facing the current champion 1v1, and you get validated for that because 10 minutes later they announce a WWE Title match on Smackdown with the person that didnât win the EC.
So theyâre either planning to take the current champion completely out of the picture 6 weeks away from WM or theyâre planning to set up a multi-man WWE title match that could involve up to 5 people.
The WWE title is booked like a midcard title at WM.

A year ago the main WM program had Cody telling 17-time World Champion John Cena âyou canât wrestleâ every week.
Now the champion is vowing to bury the challenger next to his dead father.
Weâve come far.
In what way?
Nevermind the awful match they had with Travis Scott having a full blown entrance during the match, the direction they took with that feud was nonsensical after Cenaâs heel turn. From the reasoning behind Cenaâs turn to Cody using âyou canât wrestleâ as his main diss.
Now we get the two top guys in WWE going at it with no holds barred. Two great segments already and weâve still got 6 weeks to go.
When were the great segments?
I thought that promo was really forced. I donât buy them as rivals at all. The mentioning Romanâs Dad bit was cheap heat.
Itâs also worth saying, I donât care what the outcome of the match at Mania is. Either way the world championship will be held by a wrestler that canât do anything new or interesting with it.
Not particularly surprised you didnât like it. 
You seem pretty down on the product for some time now. Justified to be fair because as much as I enjoy certain parts of the show, I think overall product has regressed since 2024.
Is there anything or anyone out there youâre enjoying currently? Doesnât have to be WWE.
