Yeah the cinical side of me thinks WWE only did it because of the AEW links, but absolutely no doubt that he deserves it. Whilst I haven’t seen a huge amount of his WWE work, the TNA/ROH/NJPW stuff was incredible.
I imagine if he wanted to he could be an incredibly valuable person to have in a backstage role and help train some of the younger members of the roster too.

Saw the clip from last night of Abyss in the cupboard lol, I remember thinking back in the day id have wanted to see Abyss vs Kane/Taker etc.

Styles definitely deserves it. Was legitimately the best wrestler in the world for a little while after he joined WWE.

Can’t believe how many people were rooting for her to win this. Over half a dozen botches in just a couple minutes of her entering the match ffs.

Despite all that, they’ve managed to sell over 18k tickets, which I believe is the biggest attendance at the United Center in decades.

Pretty good ending for that match. Stratton really is a sicko. I swear she loses a tooth or nail every other big match she’s in.
Haven’t been following Smackdown closely recently so I wonder what she’s doing at Mania.

Same was for Elimination Chamber up until a week ago.
They had Punk and AJ do some media work over the past week to generate some extra buzz and boom, sold out.
Despite people raising their concerns, it seems like they always cave in the end.
That’s one of the most innovative reversals into the sharpshooter I have ever seen.
Never expected Punk of all people to pull that off.
I get this is part of an overarching story with Finn turning babyface but I would’ve ended it right there to be honest. If you don’t want Finn to tap, just have him pass out. Would’ve been a nice callback too.
Sidenote: That entrance was fantastic. I don’t think there are many wrestlers that can rival Punk when it comes to special entrances.
