Bret Hart Was Quite Good

Wait till you guys find that’s one of Jey’s best singles matches.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything involving him that’s ever looked good.

Can’t lie when some people in this thread were putting the Usos in all time great tag team category it was making me dizzy. They’re both average wrestlers with childish mic skills

I still can’t believe what I saw.

Imagine if Kurt Angle did an Angle slam, into a Moonsault, then follows up with his ankle lock. Then the opponent not only survives but beats him immediately after that. He’d be an absolute chump :joy: actually many of his comedy segments instead of elevating him would make him look worse because he’d be viewed as joke instead of somebody legit. This is so stupid.

Imagine if Brock Lesnar did a F5 into a shooting star press and immediately loses right after :joy:

The Usos used to be sick.
However, I have to admit that I even the rare times they tagged again recently, they haven’t looked particularly good either.

I’ve noticed any time I’ve tried to watch WWE in recent times the in ring work has often seemed incredibly sloppy, slow and just mediocre compared to how it used to be.

Whenever I’ve watched it felt like the actual wrestling part of their wrestling show is an afterthought and a distraction before the next entrance or advert or random celebrity appearance. The last time I felt impressed by something I watched over there was Punk/Drew HIAC.

Is PAC a good wrestler @Annie85x @DavidHillier

Just seen a video of him on social media guy looks like an absolute unit. Wonder if he has the skill set ?

Just watched war games and I feel like I’m repeating myself.

WWE product is utter horseshit now. It just a finisher and kick out fest with as many in ring interferences as humanly possible, usually dictating the outcome.

Dogshit, don’t know why I keep checking it every few months.

Yeah he’s great. He’s bulked up a bit since a recent injury and has toned down the high flying in recent years but he can GO!

His King Neville stuff was great.
I’m really bummed we never saw Brock v Neville in WWE during that time. Brock has had some bangers with smaller guys I’m sure that match would be no different.

Other than a few crazy highlight vids of his time in Dragon Gate my first exposure to him was AEW (Notably the Kenny/PAC ironman match) and something about him always clicked with me. Always found him really great to watch.

He seems like he’s prone to take over the Deathriders from Moxley ATM, hopefully he can push his way up the card a bit now he seems to have properly bounced back from his injury.

@JakeyBoy read the room in this thread and noted our disgust at Jey Uso I take it? :joy:

He knows how to get the likes

I have to say, my main take away about the Saudi Rumble and Mania is the 5 PM start. I seem to be failing to find any kind of outrage about the shows being there.

Theme of the Gods.

Cena sure as hell loves Punk.
I have his interview with CVV in the background and he said his favourite moment in his career is his feud with Punk in Saudi, and then named him his wrestling soulmate.

Seen a lot debates this year, some arguing Randy’s case, some arguing Edge’s case, but the man himself settled it.

Appreciate the fact that he put AJ over big time.
He called him the best wrestler ever.
He 100% deserves to be in that conversation as an in-ring performer. For me he is the undisputed best of his generation in the ring.

Quite pleased to see the back of Cena, though I’ve a horrible feeling this isn’t his last match.

In the final analysis, this last run has been really poor. Tried to reserve judgement until the end but honestly I’m just glad he’s going. Really got not interest what he thinks at the moment.

That heel run was a massive waste of probably one of the last big wrestling angles left in the treasure trove. Starting with that abomination at Wrestlemania.

Another shit main card tonight:

John Cena vs. Gunther - Don’t care.

Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi - Why?

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater - AJ Styles match in 2025, skip.

Bayley vs. Sol Ruca - why?

Randomly throwing younger guys on the card with no build is not the answer.
