Bret Hart Was Quite Good

Slight overuse of finishers in this husband and wife off at wrestlepalooza.

It’s alright. It was a set up to make AJ get the big win on her return. I feel like these mixed tags are really hard to pull off. There’s always awkward moments due to bad timing or the male and female talent struggling to pull off moves to each other.
I’m trying to think of the last decent mixed tag I’ve watched.
Might’ve been Ronda’s first match tagging with Angle taking on HHH and Steph.

Speaking of Steph.

I wonder if Steph wasn’t smartened up about Taker coming out to announce her being inducted into the Hall Of Fame. She looked confused at what was happening and then looked genuinely touched when Taker made the announcement (as much as all that botox allowed it of course)

They have to bin this Punk Vs Rollins feud. It’s awful.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s over. I do think the next match might be the last in a long while though.

I haven’t been keeping up, just found out Cena is no longer heel.

What a waste. Much like this company.

His heel run pretty much proved that Vince was right never to turn him back when he was full time.

Curiosity got the better of me and I watched the Cena/Brock match. Pure shite.

It was pretty much their Summerslam 2014 match except both guys were a decade older.

I heard this PPV…sorry ā€˜PLE’ only had 5 matches.

Fucking lol. People are shelling out big money for this.

Aaah. Surely in his retirement run it would have made more sense for Cena to get the win lol

Well Brock needed to go over on his first match back from (not) being exonerated of involvement in Vince’s alleged misdeeds.

Like a valiant returning hero!

Honestly, to me his return felt like the Saudis wanting Lesnar doing the show. Then they announced they’d be doing another event after Paris.

Reckon they’ll do a rematch there and Cena will get his win then.

There’s not many dates left now, I do wonder who Cena who he’ll wrestle next, especially who the earmarking as his last match.
I was thinking Gunther. Or perhaps Bron.

I feel like an absolute dickhead talking about Crown Jewel recently thinking it was gonna be at Saudi, only to just realize this one is happening in Perth.

This Cena retirement run has been horribly booked from start to finish. Honestly can’t see the point in it he’d have been better off just having a retirement match and riding off into the sunset.

He’s basically been jobbed out in most of his big matches over the last couple years anyway. Bringing him back, putting him through a senseless heel run (which the rock had a 30 second part to play in and nothing else) that made NO SENSE and then turning him face again and jobbing him in brutal fashion to Lesnar.

Whole thing was a mess from start to finish. The odd moment which was enjoyable but largely a huge disappointment.

This should’ve been awesome. Cena turning heel is one of the very few treasure trove of ideas left. But I’ve been disinterested from the start but that Wrestlemania match absolutely finished me off.

Did you watch All Out @Annie85x ?

Yeah! Really good show as usual. First half was a little hit and miss but main event absolutely slapped :ode2:

The fatal 4-way for the women’s world title was good.

Quite enjoyed the Briscoe v MJF match tbf as well, but let’s hope that spells the end of Briscoe’s singles career. MJF has carried him for way longer than need be.
