Bret Hart Was Quite Good

@Annie85x have you seen Forbidden Door yet?

I want to see how this Ospreay angle works out. Think MJF has a part to play.

Yeah! Stayed up and watched it, I’m now dead

Reckon the play is going to be MJF/Ospreay at All In, wouldn’t be at all surprised if he cost Ospreay the Garcia match on Wednesday, Don Callis and Co. turn on Will and then they spend the run to All In fueding.

Think Danielson or a returning hangman will be Swerves opponent :thinking:

Where does Ricochet figure in all this though? :eyes:

I wouldn’t be surprised if that ended up either an All Out or even Wrestledream in October match tbf

After having had to endure Ricochet in WWE for so long, I don’t quite understand how he makes being exciting so dull.

Maybe. You’d think he’d want to do All In though.
Maybe he has a short rivalry with someone for All In and All Out and then he faces Will at WrestleDream.

Sensational. That’s why you’re my favourite ITK.

Man, the chemistry between these two guys was unmatched. I really wish the glass shattered at Mania 40 and Austin came down instead of Taker.

It must have been the plan. Can’t imagine what got in the way. Even if Austin wanted silly money for a minor appearance it would still have been worth it.

I heard they couldn’t reach a financial agreement so went with Taker.

Taker himself said that he was only told during the day of the event that he’d be needed in the evening but he was basically on standby.

It’s a shame. Would have been one of the truly iconic Mania moments if Austin came down there and stunned The Rock.

I think more than money, Austin has always been very self conscious and I think he was worried that people wouldn’t understand why he’d be there during the bloodline storyline. On top of that, he is also probably conscious about how a stunner from a 59 year old Austin would look on a 50 year old Rock.

I’m still surprised. It’s very much always been Austin’s on screen character to stick it to a faction like the Bloodline, and while I get the confidence issue he exceeded all expectations in the match with Owens, and granted Owens is a much younger guy who bumped all over the place to make Austin look good. But still, the Rock is not your average 50 year old, it could have been brilliant.

The bookies have Andrade as the outsider for the MITB match. I feel like he is a decent shout for it?

He’s bland as hell. When he returned at the rumble I thought he’d been out injured. Turned out he’d been in AEW for three years. Hard pass on him having the briefcase for me.

Who do you think should get it from the participants?
(There is a weird Any other wrestler option on Sky Bet so not sure if there is some fuckery planned)

I don’t think anyone should get it. Money in the Bank should have been axed years ago.

The booking and writing save for a few bright spots has been bad for a while now.

Abundance of talent is masking alot rn

Last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite wasn’t bad.

I’d have liked for Jarrett to have done a madness against Hangman Page, with the sentimentality factor pushing him through in the Owen (maybe a mad Page disqualifying himself could have put them both over).

DMD v CEO looks like it’s going to have the correct length of build up ahead of All In. It will be enough time for Mercedes Mone to cement her heel turn.

And the end of the show was great, best in a while. So much unpredictability surrounding Ospreay/Garcia/MJF. When will Ospreay v MJF even happen? How will the Don Callis Family actually exact vengeance on Ospreay?

Yeah I thought it was the best one for a while tbh. The PPVs have been as quality as ever but the weekly stuff has been disappointing for quite a while imo.
Unhinged Hangman is going to be great.

Definitely, her playing a dickhead heel definitely works so much better. And you know she’ll bring up Britts health be a dick too.

I reckon MJF/Ospreay at All In, and Don going for the nuclear option and screwing him, MJF getting the belt and Ospreay/Takeshita or Fletcher at All Out. Not too sure where Garcia fits, but he’s going to get that big moment soon, I’m sure of it.
