Bret Hart Was Quite Good

And what happened? The legitimate fighter cleaned him out in 30 seconds lol

Alright you made your point haha

I’m not budging on Haku though. He’s a lot tougher than Bart fucking Gunn haha

Wrestletalk is an awful channel but this is a fun list that belongs in this conversation. I quite agree nobody in their right mind would want to be near a fight with Bruiser Brody. In a sanctioned athletic contest I’m sure a proper fighter would wipe the floor with him but I’m almost certain those would not have been the circumstances most people would have found themselves fighting him under :joy:

Haku is the toughest motherfucker who ever existed in wrestling by all accounts from some of the most reliable story tellers in the business. Them old territory stories are absolutely legendary I love listening to them. I’m just protective of trained fighters lol

Yea that’s what I was trying to get across Haha. I know trained fighters in a proper fighting environment would more than likely best Haku. I can’t help but think if he went down the Lesnar/Shamrock/Severn side and focused on amateur wrestling, he’d be a threat to pretty much anyone.

I probably misread what you were saying in my furious anger then lol

Ironically I find Adam Pacitti too cringey to listen to :grinning:

Fucking hell. This just showed up randomly on my YouTube recommended. I had no idea Hogan could actually wrestle.

Hogan in Japan was a different animal but he knew he never needed to wrestle like that in America to make himself a star.

Some of the Japanese shows in the 80s and 90s that did crossover matches with American stars had some genuinely amazing matches.

I call it the Kevin Nash Philosophy, put in as little work as you can for maximum pay.

In their defense it worked with those guaranteed contracts they got later on in their careers.

it’s weird seeing Hogan move quick

It’s weird seeing him perform an enzuigiri :joy:

Hogan I love is old and slow

I was watching a Kevin Nash clip earlier in the day and he called it Hulk Hogan style.

Fckin Big Show showing up in a neck brace the following week and WCW ā€œbanā€ the powerbomb to mimic the (genuine) piledriver banning in WWF

Insane they managed that. Did Nash have quad problems before that? Fucking impact on his body that must have had.
