Bret Hart Was Quite Good

Mark Henry’s theme by Three Six Mafia is one I always quite enjoyed.

Hulk Hogan’s “I am a real American” Hulkamania era theme encapsulates everything thats great about the eighties lol

Jericho’s Break the Walls Down sounded like someone knocking off Rage Against The Machine’s vocal styles, which appeals.

DX theme always slapped, especially as that was the coolest, most rebellious shit ever when I was 9 years old and loved DX.

Motorhead actually did Triple H’s The Game theme, which gives it a certain, ahem, pedigree.

Stone Cold’s always was, and always will be, pure hype.

Is he the one what won the European Cup for Celtic?

@GC-Maniac

Finished Double or Nothing last night.

Agreed with you that Anarchy in the Arena was the match of the night. Serena Deeb v Thunder Rossa was second.

Two bits of interest going into Dynamite. Who challenges CM Punk next and where does MJF go from here?

I think they’ll pivot to Forbidden Door soon. Not sure if Punk will defend the title there. It was interesting to see Jericho get a win over Bryan. I think he could be a good first opponent and certainly intriguing to see Punk and Jericho rekindle their feud in an unfiltered environment, even if it’s a short program. Hopefully they bury the hatchet too in real life.
MJF’s next feud has to be against Tony/AEW. That’s the story people are talking about, gotta bring that on TV and run with it. I do think MJF may take some time off for the time being though.

For those who are caught up with the MJF situation, do you think this is all a work?

  • Shoot

Intrigued.

Work confirmed

It’s all a work man. Cocaine Tony is just a gimmick too.
Seriously though, I do believe it’s a shoot turned into work but I don’t think it started with the contract shit.

I think it started with the Ariel interview. I think TK, MJF and Punk noticed the traction a mere disagreement between TK and MJF got from the media and they decided to work the marks a la Pillman.

Dynamite had me like:

I love watching these Promo Joe vids, they’re are hilarious. Very Botchamania like.

(He usually posts weekly on Thursday and they do contain spoilers from the Dynamite episode on Wednesday)

Shit I feel for Brian Pillman Jr. Poor kid. Both his parents gone and he isn’t even 30 years old yet.

@GC-Maniac correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t she in the crowd the last time Dynamite went to Pittsburgh? MJF did a close-to-the-cuff worked shoot on Pillman and his family.

Yep, and I think she made fun of her for being a cokehead among other MJF things.

Dave Meltzer ladies and gentlemen.
I was surprised but I really shouldn’t be, he wasn’t a fan of Dynamite this week. I guess he’s not happy AEW is moving on from being an Indy show on drugs.

Find something else to fill your PWG void, you fucking mark!

Can see him being put with Eli Drake

As if AEW hasn’t taken this week by storm with Double Or Nothing and the MJF angle there was a massive announcement on Rampage(it was live again).
I highly suggest watching it before heading into next Dynamite or you will be very confused.
