I think since last summer and especially since Punk joined the show has totally shifted.
It went from a show with predominantly modern indy stuff to a proper professional wrestling show.

Yes I agree its an enjoyable wrestling show.
Even the mic work is exceptional from a few wrestlers. Kingston, Jericho, Punk, and MJF. Dan Lambert. You’ve got Regal on comms now too. I could listen to AEW as much as I watch it.

AEW is the only wrestling apart from WWE I’ve watched with any sort of regularity and it has produced some great matches, no doubt. It’s just the flippy stuff that’s not to my taste.
