We always lose the first game, at least it wasn’t a shit team this time :mustafi:
It’s one game that we’ve clearly desperately ill prepared for.
It’s utter shit.
We’ve every right to be angry because we expected something different
shit defending
How does one prepare against City?
I expected some sort of professionalism.
This is crap from most of the players on show
WE HAVE A CORNER
I am not angry. I expected this. This is just the first game, against one of the best teams in the world, with a new manager. We need to be patient and give the manager and the team some time.
What’s frustrating is that you’ll hear nonsense like “give it time”, even though the “superstars” now probably only have 2 more season left in them. This is why this transfer window was such a disaster.
When the defense is at the quality required, then Auba and Özil will probably be finished
The lack of real wide players makes us very ineffectual in the final third.
It’s one of the reasons why we’ve only just had our first corner, we are not direct enough.
Why did you expect anything different?
Talent matters much more than a manager. Arsenal have 5 or 6 starters that are mid table or lower quality.
Save yourself the heartache.
Var would’ve had that as a pelanty for The Arsenal
Fucking DMs nowhere to be seen. Torreira can’t come back soon enough.
Fair play what a save from Cech.
Watch games that Man City lost last season.
Watch the games we lost against them to draw on the ways we can take advantage.
Look at us. We’re lazy. We’ve had about 5 minutes of “power play” in each half. That’s crap! Huddersfield would offer more goalbound efforts than us
That’s very true. Our front line is currently at its peak in terms of age
I still cant believe after two windows we havent bought a winger or a good 1v1 player of some sort.
At the moment, it’s progress. :unai:
Both depressing and true.
Need to sign some young forward talent and let it develop.
Mahrez would of been perfect and he’s been available for ages.
So criminal.
Class wide options is one of the main reasons City and Liverpool are so dangerous.
Terrible squad building from the club.
that’s why Guendouzi’s effort is not overstated.
Most of our players lack that kind of effort.
