Does 89 count?
I’m going for Senna. Definitely my most watched sport film. Maradona one likely to push it close now.
Truly love Chariots of fire though. Favourite boxing film is Somebody up there likes me based on the life of Rocky Graziani. Paul Newman was epic in that.
Does for me.
Senna
Rush
Rocky
Million dollar baby
Moneyball
(Stoopid) - Escape to Victory
(Actual) - Bull Durham, Jerry Maguire
Okay it’s daft but have to put in a mention for Slapshot.
My dad loved that and would literally howl at laughter at it. Just a good memory that one.
The Damned United
The Wrestler
All of mine have been mentioned here; Senna, Maradona, Moneyball, and Rush
Probably missed one or two
Million Dollar Baby
The Fighter
Cool Runnings
High School Musical
Need to get your head in the game.
Well this is certainly not something I expected myself and @Stroller to be bonding over today.
Any Given Sunday, One Day In September, The Basketball Diaries, The Champ
Also a little mention for The Sandlot. Remember enjoying that when I was a kid, haven’t seen it in years though and don’t actually remember too much about it so it might actually be shit
Disgusted nobody has mentioned Space Jam yet. Clearly the greatest sports film of all time.
Happy Gilmore was a favourite growing up.
Maradona for me.
Happy Gilmore has Adam Sandler in though, and he is possibly the most annoying actor to grace the planet.
This is more a sports documentary but this was very good aswell.
I quite enjoyed Adam Sandler as like an eleven year old though
Senna
The Hurricane
Moneyball
Coach Carter
Cinderella Man
I think the only thing I can imagine being worse than Space Jam is that there are strong rumours of a sequel on the way
