Fair decision to get it resolved since he has been struggling for quite some time.
We’re pretty stacked in the right-back department. Timber will likely get extended minutes. Partey can be used there. That 17-year old who made his debut against Bolton can play there.
It’s a loss, because he’s one of our most available players. But as mentioned, we have depth.
One thing though, if this issue occurred during summer, why not just operate then?
Most likely they were hoping to avoid surgery.

Our schedule after the break will involve a lot of teams that will sit back quite a bit.
I know people hate him but this is a good time to start involving Zinchenko more.
For example, against Forest I don’t see a reason why we shouldn’t go with Timber-Saliba-Gabriel-Zinchenko.
No Kiwior? Showed at start of year he was capable
Put Zinchenko in midfield. The inevitable brain farts will occur further up the pitch. It will lessen his defensive responsibilities and reduce my heart palpitations.
Zinchenko - Rice - Odegaard when we need to break down those unmovable defences.

accept the fact, this season we have been hampered by injuries… (and some bad referee decisions).
