He’d be crazy to turn this down Newcastle is a good club for him to move to and way better for him than United.
He only had to look at Hojlund and Zirkzee and how badly both were used to see the club is a graveyard for decent talents.

Sesko must have looked at Man U and realised that despite their reputation as a top European club, they have very few players that are better than mid table level.

Anyone going to United right now is going because either, 1: United is their biggest shot; 2: they want some money; 3: both 1 & 2. Nothing else.

We ended up essentially caving on the add ons so we’re going to pay 73.5m euro for Gyokeres unless he is a massive bust. RBL are asking for 75+5 for Sesko. Newcastle’s wage structure tops out around 150k, which is why Isak is unhappy, no way they’re paying him more than that. We ended up giving Gyokeres something like 150k base and 200k with bonuses if reports are to be believed.
Long story short: This player is going to move to a club much less desirable than Arsenal for a cost that was well within our budget because the agent fucked around too much.

Say, young talents go to United, slip on the stone and nearly drown. Rashford has swam to Barcelona’s fake beach but the likes of Sancho, Holjund, Yoro and Zirkzee are lost at sea.
