Sesko is going to be a great player. We need him here at Arsenal. Havertz has a contract until 2028. I can’t see him being extended and Sesko is perfect for our team and our system.
If they believed we truly need him they would have signed him

He’s apart of Arteta’s commune now and Sesko unfortunately cannot pry his way in there.
From the club’s point of view, he married up to whatever metrics they are looking for and convinced Mikel that he was the one. Compare the two scenarios of Gyökeres and how he acted towards a move here; not afraid of burning any bridges and appears to have influenced those around him to progress the transfer.
We are not privy to the background moves made for Sesko but, going off the reporting, he was a longstanding target and was well aware of our interest in him. Pussyfooting around RBL to not hurt their feelings when it’s clearly time to hop out of that pond now looks like poor judgement on his behalf and moreso those around him.
I favoured Sesko between the two mind you. And it is two different players that are at different ends of their careers, which maybe why this is the situation that has played out. But as a fan, it’s nice to be the one’s (Arsenal the football club) that a player does everything in their power to join and Viktor has shown that with abundance.
