It is, if I hadn’t found the only part of Essex that doesn’t suck and met lots of like-minded mates here I’d be living in Suffolk now.
I was house-hunting in the area between Sudbury and Bury about 22 years ago. Ultimately, having grown-up in the suburbs of London, it felt very remote and just a bit too far from the capital back when I was commuting.
Harking back to my youth when life and love were new, I always liked Southwold. Sleepy, unchanging, and some fine ales.

Very nice out there and can confirm it is still (seemingly) a sleepy, quiet place. I didn’t try the ales though!
We recently went to collect some dog crates for our car off a couple that had moved that way from Hertford. They live on a farm now and I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t jealous of their gaff.
Coincidentally, the person we picked that dog crates up from said that we would have passed Ed Sheeran’s house on the way to theirs haha.

I absolutely despise the transfer window for this very fucking reason. Also seeing constant empty tweets saying literally fuck all about anything transfer related is really making me wanna just log off the forum until the transfer window is over

You are jealous because they make money from absolute garbage 
at this point it’s fair to say they’re all charlatans and scammers apart from a really small handful.
We should have like a defined like of 3-5 folk who are usually correct. e.g. Orny etc.
All the other sources should probs be banned from being posted here.
Their jobs exist because of engagement.
I still remember hearing about Overmars and Petit on teletext after they signed. That was better.

I remember finding out about Sol Campbell signing for us through teletext. I must have checked it minutes after the news broke. Not a whiff it was happening beforehand.
