Cavani was class, not one you’d bed your house on for a 1v1 but the guy had elite movement.
Underrated player, PSG were better with him than when they went all galacticos imo. Had 2/3 seasons where he was the real main man despite Neymar and co being around him.

I was one of the few that voted for Benzema. Always loved him as a player and wanted him at Arsenal.

Was always a fan of Benzema, even while most Madrid fans were making fun of him when he “couln’t score”… But Suarez is just different class.
2014 might be the best individual PL season I’ve ever seen. The best league performer in Europe that season, even better than CR7 or Messi, withouth a doubt. Was pure class and one of the top 3 players in the world in the first two years at Barca even though he changed his style dramatically. A joke or a player at the time.
Cavani was a brilliant centre forward. Relentless worker, physically imposing, decent technically and scored bucket loads.
Suarez was special. Didn’t look inferior to Neymar or Messi when at Barca and brilliant for Ajax, Pool, Barca and Atletico as well as internationally.
Prime Suarez was different class man. Had that bite in him(no pun intended). Benzema not even close imo.

65 G/As for Ronaldo and kickstarted this reign of dominance in the Champions League for Madrid by bringing La Decima.
It’s unfair for players in their generation but Ronaldo and Messi were the Top 2 players in that time so at best the rest were fighting for that 3rd spot.

It’s weird because I still rate his peak at Liverpool as peak Suarez but his numbers that season were fucking outrageous.
Barca really missed a trick not keeping MSN together. Once Neymar left Barca simply never reached those highs again.
I know they’ve won plenty of La Ligas anyway but the CL importance is huge for the Spanish clubs, way more important than the league.
I still remember Messi promising them every year that they’ll win the CL again and they never did.
2016 Suarez was the best player in the world.
Better than Messi. Better than Ronaldo. He didn’t get ballon Dor because of his biting chiellini and Ivanovic.
