The right decision. He got the Clippers to punch above their weight last year, but was found wanting when the expectation rose.

Doc is one of the most overrated coaches ever. Never achieved anything with CP 3 and Blake and then underachieving massively with this team. Whatās worse about this team was it seems like he had little to no say about the players resting and practicing. So maybe its not his fault but the dood had the big 3 in Boston and only got 1 title (would have zero if Bynum hadnāt been injured).

The Lakers should win 4-1. This should be a walk in the park with those two. The only team who I thought could give them problems were the Clippers because of depth.
Completely agree but Iāve seen some wild shit in the NBA Finals. Shaq and Kobe Lakers in 04 losing to a pretty shit Pistons team (who kinda came out of nowhere like this Heat team) who got beat the next year against San Antonio (who we beat the year prior) and then LeBron losing to Dirk in the finals was pretty surprising too. It happens from time to time.
What the clippers are going to find out the hard way about firing Doc is theyāve given the keys the franchise to an extremely flakey personality in Kawhi and his sidekick PG without a strong counterbalance at HC

Reporting indicated the depth/bench guys were displeased with Kawhi load management and time off. It was Doc keeping them onside.
Yeah the chemistry was all screwy not surprised they ended up failing that means a lot. I brought up the Lakers who lost to the Pistons in 2004. That was the end of Shaq and Kobe cuz they were already at eachothers throats, and nobody like Malone on that team either. Chemistry is ultimately why they lost.

He will get them playing better i think cuz he always raises the level in the regular season. However when it comes to the playoffs dont expect him to get u very far.
That sounds exactly like what all people said about Alain Vigneault for the Flyers in hockey, and by god they were right. Absolutely destroyed everyone in regular season once they got going, scraped by in the playoffs til they got shown up and just had nothing against better tactics.
