Injuries and mentality.
Dude is an elite MVP level baller but he’s a moaning injury note. He’s the anti Jokic.
You cannot rely on him over 16+ playoff games

His health is definitely a hindrance but I think outside of that, he is a guy you can win a title with. He is legitimately unstoppable on the low block, his body just lets him down too often. Even today he was literally just walking the ball in every time he got it in his spots.
Put him and Maxey with 3 defenders who can shoot and some decent guys off the bench and that’s a team that can win a chip.
@Mondo Sorry bro, Clippers used all that energy in game 1
Yeah, they missed the 2&13 window probably a couple of seasons ago.
I’m hoping the signing of big name players isn’t an ongoing strategy as the team moves to the new arena. Cohen tried to do it with the NY Mets by signing Sherzer and Verlander, but sometimes you get guys who are either past their prime, or just want a payday and have a vacation in the big city.
Team needs a rebuild with some young and determined athletes.
Nuggets v Wovles is the best match up of the play offs.
The nuggets already look small
This is gonna be a good series.
Gotta roll with the Nuggs now my team is eliminated. Sure, they have the worst name for any sports franchise, but the Joker is the Benjamin White of the NBA.
Okay, these Wolves are genuine contenders. They’re playing without Gobert today too. Defense is crazy and they’re stacked with long and versatile guys that play hard.
They’ve got a guy who can get a bucket in Edwards and tbh Towns is in that category too. Good pieces on the bench in NAW, Morris, Naz and Anderson.
The Wolves
Did not think he was going to morph into Jordan during the playoffs.
Thunder made pretty short work of the Mavs. PJ got in really early foul trouble (3 in 1st quarter) which didn’t help. I think this will be a pretty competitive series.
Celtics v Cavs is easily the least interesting series right now. Celtics about to get a free pass to the finals with the Knicks losing Robinson for 6 to 8 weeks.
Definitely on the Wolves bandwagon now, although I wouldn’t mind the Thunder either, just think they are a bit early this time around.
Really anyone but the Celtics lol
Frank Vogel fired by the Suns. Follows Darvin Ham being fired by the Lakers.
Cavs slapping the Celtics right now. Up 27 with 4 to go in the 4th. Beautiful.
Yet again, Celtics being exposed for their over-reliance on 3s.
I hope OKC slap the Mavs. I can’t stand the great white hype. Whereas my man, SGA, was such a humble dude, hitching a ride in a Toyota Prius to training way back during his rookie season. I bet he drives a Lamborghini these days.
You took the defeat well I take it
agree, way too many 3s
Atlanta won #1 Draft Pick.
Detroit got #5 again. Roooough.
I really like this Thunder side, really fun and youthful offensive basketball
