Definitely. If there are teams who can give Brooklyn a run for their money, defensively, it are the Bucks and the Lakers because of Giannis and Davis. Don’t think Embiid is enough of a perimeter defender to say the same. With Jrue they aren’t as dependent on Giannis and Middleton for their playmaking anymore so they can hold up on offense.
It’s always said that you can’t win with offense only, but Brooklyn has so much weapons they can actually challenge that. It’s going to be very interesting this season after years of Golden State/Los Angeles dominance. Hopefully we will have a couple of decent tip off times again for us here in Europe.
Lakers/Suns is in at 8.30 tonight, so good time.
I’m torn in who I’d prefer to face between the Bucks and Nets. Sixers don’t have a great record against the Bucks. Lost all 3 this season. But with the big 3 healthy for the Nets, not sure how we’d match up. Can’t see the Knicks or Hawks causing us too much trouble.
Really curious to see who comes out of the west. Really wanted the Suns to advance. Love Chris Paul and poor guy just has the worst luck in the playoffs with injuries.
