One of our hardest games. 0-0 is fine.

Let’s be honest, we’ve had performances like this with Odegaard.

Doubt he would’ve changed much today.

Glad I didn’t watch the game. I heard Raya bossed it tonight with a double save though.

Sounds like without Odegaard and a striker we can’t score goals.

You’ll be pleased to know I don’t have Sky :joy:

Horrid watch but probably not a bad point particularly in the context of the week

The beard and eyebrow shape-up on Raya is always immaculate.

Wait until his transplant results come through. My guess is he’ll get an absolutely crispy fade.

Shit game but hard earned point away from home!

Atalanta defended really and so did we.

I was happy with a draw before the match and still happy with it now. Would’ve preferred more rotation but I get why Arteta went strong for the opener.

Clean sheet, Raya is in stupendous form. He’s pulled the ball out of the net in almost every game for us so far this season.
Hope he keeps another clean sheet on Sunday. I’d also be happy with a draw there.

Our run of games after City is more favourable so I think we’ll be able to rotate a bit more then and hopefully start a winning streak.

Wasn’t pleasant to watch but it’s an appetizer for the grind on Sunday.

I know how we’ll approach the game but I wonder how City approach it too.
Apart from that game they smashed us and essentially grabbed the title from us two seasons ago, I feel like they’ve been pretty reserved against us too.

Could make for a similarly boring game.

I think it’s going to be a total slog on Sunday. We’ll sit in that block. They don’t seem up to much unless Haaland scores and we happen to have two CBs who are more than comfortable handling him.

How so?

I’m pretty positive we’ll approach it very reserved like most of our big away games.
I think the only way that’d change is if we concede early and City decide to park the bus themselves.

Do you think we’ll be more adventurous on Sunday?

no way we will be adventurous against City, especially away

Walked it back from ā€œI know how we’ll approach the gameā€ in textbook fashion there.

Downgraded to ā€œI’m pretty positive,ā€ offered some noncommittal comments based on the status quo and then finished with a question to try and get the focus off the uncomfortable overreach.

Just like they do on Twitter
