Doesn’t this same rule state that it’s a penalty if the player blocks the ball going into the net with his hand?
I’ve been harsh on the team because I have high expectations. We spent a lot of money and have a small window to capitalize on this squad.
If we were outplayed I’d chalk it up to just being beat, I always think about the 2013 Ravens getting waxed by Houston and still winning the Super Bowl, but we played ourselves today.
I’m more concerned with how we played.
The cash hand ball didn’t stop havertz scoring it tho.
Unfortunately if it made him miss I think we would have had a good chance of a pen

It’s a pen or a goal, no question.
However, I don’t think either handball is clear enough to prevent the goal.

I’m not sure how it’s disallowed for a Havertz handball when it was a handball on cash first ?
Logic to me suggests you say incidental goal stands or penalty for the first handball ?
Are they saying Cash one was incidental and Havertz one intentional to gain an advantage ?

Wouldn’t it be worse if we were outplayed? Sometimes you play decently enough and don’t win, it’s bound to happen across almost 40 games. Frustrating as fuck, no doubt, but, like many things in life, if you have a certain level of production pretty consistently, over time the level of quality will show out.
All of us have seen enough football to know it’s more important we sandwich these results with other better ones than to get hung up on one specific moment which will end up being realitvely insignificant.
30 games in and I can definitely get on board with bottling it, particulaly if we are top for a long time like we were last season. Right now, you just put the shit result behind you and keep trying to win consistently and do all the things that contribute to that happening.

For me the thing I’m gutted about is I was expecting Villa to actually play like a top side after all the reports I’ve been reading lately.
But honestly they just looked like a true 6th-9th placed side that scored early, then sat back rode luck, created nothing and limped over the line due to the other side being wasteful and few decisions going their way.

Seriously? How does the ref rule out the goal? He surely can’t see a thing from there. There is no way the linesman can either. So it should’ve stood and then VAR. And I think there is a better chance of the goal being given if the rule in the field is a goal. No clear evidence it hits Kai’s hand. Kai is pulling his arm away from the ball the entire time and no clear contact point can be seen.

Don’t know where, who or for how much…but we need a dude who can bang 20+ league goals.
I couldn’t persuade you that we actually need a wide forward? I think we might have more success pushing Havertz into the nine.
It’s been an issue all season.
