Tough to call this one. Villa/Emery will be up for it, no Arteta, we need to be taking every game as a test right now.

This will be a test as Villa are excellent at home, if we win here aswell that would be an incredible week and give the team such a boost

Would be nice if Aston Villa pick up some injuries/suspensions vs City today, but I also want them to beat City

We will win.

This will be a beauty, probably won’t be too many changes as we don’t really have the luxury with player availability at the moment.

Zinchenko and Trossard could be 2 that come in, very certain Zinchenko will play.

I’ll say Arsenal edge it by a solitary goal, probably a late goal again.

Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal.

Either a very hard fought draw, or a very narrow win… Will definitely be a difficult game though I reckon.

What a huge 3 points that would be. Don’t think many teams win at Villa Park this season.

This one does look like it could be a rare loss. Wouldn’t be mad if we drew, would be delighted if we come away with a win.

Think this one will be a test of our mettle.

The next 72 hours are a great test for Villa also, I think it’s 13 home wins on the bounce since we beat them in February, but games against City and Arsenal back to back is about as tough as it can get.

As others have said, this will be a huge test. Villa Park is a fortress right now. They will come at us with huge intensity but unlike Luton, they also have major quality to go with it. Watkins on fire, Luiz has been excellent.

I fear we will struggle there, and we really can’t concede first. Have to navigate the pressure then our own quality will come to the fore.

I’ve voted draw but feel like this could go any which way.

Very tough game, but I do wonder if an Emery defence can cope with our ability to pick teams off that come out and attack us.

Head says we’ll lose, heart says we’ll draw.

We’ll definitely score a couple goals, but I don’t believe we’ll keep a clean sheet here, not at their ground.

We’re currently in the season of gifting goals for Christmas, so if we lose or drop points it won’t be cause Villa are better than us. We show no signs of cutting out the crap, so it’ll be a draw at best imo.

At least we currently sit 9 points above title chasing spurs though, even if we have played a game more as things stand.

I clicked the wrong team… supposed picking Arsenal to win

I never vote but when I do it’s either a draw or a loss.

Don Unai is a wiley one.

Good ebening incoming,

Tough for Villa having City then Arsenal within a few days.

Hopefully City wear them out tonight - a few injuries/suspensions would be nice too.

But ultimately we are a better team than Villa, and our away record is strong. Before yesterday we’d only conceded 3 goals away in the league.

I’m going 1-3

What’s the better game to watch tonight everyone? Man Utd v Chelsea or City v Villa?

I’ll be watching the latter or maybe both side-by-side

First one for banter, second one for talent
