Arsène Wenger

Watching the game today and looking at Mane, Firminihio and Salaha told you the difference between the managers. Those players are giving roles to play but allowed to express themselves in a dynamic system. Their not world beaters but quality that Wenger would never want. The 3 of them came in under a 100 million.
Now Liverpool are in the same market as us, so were the fuck is Wenger on talent like this.

Losing like this has become part of Arsenal’s brand whether we like it or not. Arsene’s mismanagement of the squad over the last five years has been painful to watch.

I can’t think of a worse waste of money than putting Wenger in charge of a bunch of talented youngsters.

Nothing will change until he’s gone.

Pretty much this. It’s only when we get a new manager we can start talking about rebuilding a proper side.

Not sure if Wenger will last the two years tbh, something has got to give

True. But the next manager (whenever that happens…ha) will have more to work with.

he wont if someone has some balls and says enough is enough but this fucking board wont do it. Mind you though that money grabbing cunt Kroenke might seriously think about it when the Arsenal brand is in the toilet because of being stupid with it and his money is effected!

I would of been happy with someone like Marcelino at least he would of turned us into a well drilled tactically organised unit, sick of this shit.

Arsene put himself in this position. I 100% believe the Board, especially Ivan, wanted him out. Not necessarily for altruistic reasons but to consolidate their own power at the club.

Arsene has Stan’s ear, told Stan he wanted to stay and got his two year bump. Arsene must have known that things would get ugly in a hurry if he didn’t shake up the staff and the squad but he botched the summer big time, botched the contract extension situations and has not put out a sensible XI in three matches. Ox on the left? Honestly?

I’d like to think a guy as proud as Arsene would be willing to step aside for the health of the club. There’s no top four record to protect any more. It’s a shame but I really think the club will end up suffering in terms of its popularity the longer Arsene stays. It’s just not fun to follow Arsenal and at the end of the day following a football team is supposed to be a fun distraction from every day life.

Ladies and Gentlemen
We are in a fucking mess .
. We are stagnant, stale and soft to the core .We play like an extension of the manager . We need a younger dynamic manager who will get this club feared as it once was . Not a walk over like we are now .
Very sad .

Aye before it was all leave on a high and whatever, but I’d like a sacking now. Do it Gazidis.

Wenger just always seems to stop when he feels he has done enough to be secure. Got lacazette and thought that was it for him. Standard. Same when he got cech. Then when he sees insecurity over the fans, he goes out and panic buys a couple players he doesn’t even want. Who he will then try to flog off next summer.

This needs to stop.

“We were not at the right level from the first minute - physically, technically and mentally - and we were punished,” said the Frenchman.

"Today our performance was not acceptable. It is true today we were an easy opponent for Liverpool.

“Our performance was absolutely disastrous. Not to become too emotional, we have to take some distance, and there are some reasons behind it, and the players now go on their international break, but we do have to take the consequences of our performance today,”

Something is broken in the dressing room for sure.

The question is is there anything the club can do to fix it other than firing Arsene?

There’s a week left in the transfer window. I think it’s probably too late to buy any players who would make a significant impact but it’s never too late to sell players. Although I do think the only thing that would make a significant impact on the team achieving success this year would be firing Arsene.

To be fair, im proud of Arsene for acknowledging the severity of what happened.

I don’t trust he has the ability to handle whats necessary to fix the team, but I will never doubt his love and commitment to Arsenal. This is going to be an interesting few days.

How would Chavy Dean knows what goes on at board level?

I would sell all our unhappy players, fire Wenger and then start again with some youngsters. A fresh new beginning.

What the fuck has he been doing all summer?

He switched to this formation on a whim because he was desperate as his team was playing like utter shite with no end in sight and he needed something to change.

We were less adventurous but solid and compact in the middle. The wingbacks tucking into that midfield 4 looked good .

He’s had a whole fucking summer to prepare and practice with it after the 10 game experiment last season, and now we can’t attack or defend.

We’re leaving Lacazette on the bench so that we can have Holding at centre back and for no defensive gain.

This is Arsene Wenger, and if we’re going to be all over the place and unable to defend then he at least needs to leave 4 attackers on the pitch for the occasion that something does happen. If the defensive gain is gone and the attacking reduction stays, what’s the point?
