I know for a fact we have outspend Liverpool and Tottenham for the last four years. Denying that or not acknowledging we have more resources than those two clubs is just rewriting history.
The only season when this ‘squad running down’ thing was in effect was 11/12. Other than that season we had more quality than those clubs in our squad.
Again. Stop making this club smaller than they actually are. To a degree I can accepted we aren’t going to compete with United, City and Chelsea. Whilst I do believe with our resources we should be able to get closer than guys like yourself want to claim. But claiming those other things just make it seem like you’ll have an unjustified inferiority complex.
Anyway. The lack of resources are not an excuse in the Europa League. I’m curious what the excuses will be there if we don’t reach the final.

The club is awash with money, so taking a loss on certain squad players like Gabrial, Elnenny, Perez et al should not be a problem, let’s get them out and replace with starters that actually improve the team

We have a higher net spend but then again they got windfalls for their best players while we got fleeced on Cesc and RVP and in truth look like doing so again if Alexis leaves.
