Arsène Wenger

Like I said. Wenger’s corpse will be our next manager. He ain’t going nowhere.

i reckon the mega change will actually be the wage structure and how much we spend on signings. I have a feeling we will buy a player no one would expect us to buy (£60m+) and bust the wage structure open so we can keep hold of star players…meanwhile hopefully getting rid of some shit off our roster.

You know how our next 2 seasons are gonna be:

august-december: world beaters, Wenger says he has never managed such a strong team.
december-april: laughing stock, Wenger says he can’t explain our problems.
april-may: world beaters again, Wenger praises our mental strength.

:hipster:

Trophyless in 2018, win the F.A. Cup in 2019, two more years.

If true, would be a big step in the right direction.

Are none of them teams going to buy then. Just stagnate as we come charging from the back. Ffs mate.
Beyond feeling sick at this decision. Worse to come if and when he goes his ego then becomes the face and mouth piece of the board.
Any manager working under him would never get any free reign.
Needed to change last season with clubs investing in new managers and fell behind them. A season under their belts now their ready to move on. We choose to go with what we have we hold. . . and fall.

Talk of Bergkamp running the youth set up

I mean, I thought it was time for him to finish; but what if there was no top class manager ready to leave yet?

If there was no real alternative then they had to sign him on.

Can’t blame Wenger for signing the contract.

A lot of delirium from my non Arsenal supporting mates in regards to yesterday’s extension, I mean we could have got worse if we selected the wrong replacement but people just love the fact we are now definitely a non entity for another 2 years at least in the league.

We’ll be a massive outsider until we invest at the same level as the favourites. City are spending 300m this year, United probably 200m, Chelsea/Spurs/Liverpool will invest plenty too. We’re rumoured to be investing 100m with our best player leaving. Season on season they spend more and buy players we want to buy from underneath us. Like last season we did all the groundwork for Mkhitaryan and United come in and blow us out the water. Happens time and again. Our manager whoever he is has to get off with the ugly mate of the girl our rivals are shagging and have her beat his girl to a beauty contest. IE we got Gervinho instead of Hazard.

You’ll do well to get many managers getting 4th in that situation never mind competing for the title.
