I remember 5/6 years ago arguing about Wenger and how he isn’t the right man for the job anymore. I don’t know what happened between the Invincibles and now, but he has never ever been able to replicate even a little bit of that success and I attribute it to his unwillingness to change his tactics during a time that the game in general changed a lot and his policy on maintaining and attracting top players. When RvP left I knew it would be the beginning of the end. The way we let our best player go to United where he won them the league.
At this point the best thing Wenger could do is step down, assume a position as a financial director / technical director and let another manager with new ideas and passion coach the team.

In well over 40 odd years of following this magnificent club home and away I have never felt so sad and angry towards any manager as I am to Wenger .
It’s sad to see him crest fallen yet at the same time angry that he has created all this upon himself.
We have taken some absolute hammerings under his tenure,8-2 to the filthy Mancs .
The horrific defeat to Birmingham in the league cup . Ok , it’s the league cup but it’s a trophy , a win at Wembley not another blot on Wengers career .
His signings have been nothing short of humiliation considering the lure of the Emirates was to compete with Europes Elite
teams . The team performance is an extension of Wengers persona - washed out and gutless.

This situation is pretty hilarious though. It’s like what they say about money - look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves: manage all the small parts of a football team and the big picture will create itself. But if we’re not even getting the small basic stuff right then we’re in a proper mess!

The problem is the only people who still don’t see it are the board.

The more I see of these pathetic displays and protests by fans outside of the training ground, planes flying with messages and outbursts on arsenal fan TV and general childish impudence and tantrums from grown fucking men my respect and support for Wenger grows.
I was fully WOB a few weeks ago, but these ludicrously disrespectful displays by adults is making me hope Wenger stays just to fucking spite the cunts.
There are other ways to go about this, and regardless of how you feel about Wenger now he has been a long serving loyal club servant who has done a lot for this club and the fact that we’re playing like shit isn’t some malicious intent of his to drive our club into the ground.
