Arsène Wenger

Pretty sure that means he stays. Unless we’re really trying to push for the new manager over the international break I honestly don’t see the point of him not announcing it immediately if he had any intention to leave. Maybe a good result or two in early April and it will go easier for him.

That or he has completely lost hope in that bunch of players which will only mean that it’s going to be a tough summer.

We’ll probably get a John Cross article tonight saying what his decision is, and it’ll be the opposite.

I hate to say this but we can’t afford to win the fa cup this year.

Think his mind is already made up with whatever he is gonna do and the FA cup will do nothing to change his mind either which way.

No player would come to a club and play in an empty stadium

Remember people saying on here that Fergie left United with a poor squad and Wenger never would. WRONG

I feel a sense of calm now. The other day he said he didn’t know what he’d do, now his mind is made up. So it seems pretty clear to me that Wenger is gone. Wouldn’t be surprised if he announced it within the next week.

Where has he been lately anyway? He used to talk a lot more with the media a year or two ago but has completely disappeared after that. Has he been advised to shut up or what exactly is happening?

Now all we need to know is…Is AFCamden Wenger in or Wenger out?

The problem I have with all this is whatever the outcome of his future I feel like it’s hanging over the club and the sooner he’s announced he’s staying/going the better for everyone as we can move on. He contradicts himself by saying he must focus on the results but how can the club focus when this huge cloud hangs over it.

I’ve been in situations where my manager has been like this and it certainly causes a lot of unrest amongst staff.

a little unreasonable to think we would ever have an empty stadium though, even if you are just speculating.

Arsenal give zero shit what fans want, and given our other sources of revenue this idea that we hold some sort of power is really odd.

Spot on, the only difference I believe is that he was fibbing about it before and that he decided some weeks ago. But obviously each loss is chipping away at the credibility he’s trying to maintain with the “oh I haven’t decided” stance.

Just bet with a friend that he issues a quit statement before we play Man City

but that twat above said that that gazidis is spineless to me that sounds like that he has signed a new deal, but then again wtf would he know about the inner dealings of the club.

I think an quitting statement from Wenger will bring nothing but benefits for the rest of season.

The shame of letting down the man who put some much faith in them and the impending fear of a new manager with his own ideas coming in should galvanise the players to salvage the rest of this horror show of a season.

Take your point but if he said he was staying I dont think it would galvanise anyone.

Baguette from Strasbourg has become very rotten.
