Aandddd…just as Arsenal fans hit a new low, so does Wenger: compared to Trump.
LOL! It was the first analogy that sprung to mind… not reflective of their relative places in my heart (or not).
I still love AW… can’t stand Trump and have always found him to be an odious narcissist.
If some of our fans actually hire a plane to fly over the Hawthorns next week I just won’t bother watching the game.
Way too embarrassing for me to witness that from supporters of my team, even on the TV.
That’d actually be a new low for our fan base lol.
I don’t judge who want him out, I’m not agreed with them but I respect different thoughts.
I refuse to respect actions like protests, banners and offences against THE BEST MANAGER OF OUR HISTORY.
I want the best for my club and these fans are THE WORST.[quote=“InvincibleDB10, post:4904, topic:125”]
You support Wenger rather than the club and probably had no interest in us before he came here.

I’m 24 and I started to follow football when he was here. It’s my fault to not born before?
If the board will refuse to improve and remain interested about the money and not try the famous step forward, yes, I will be happy, because I’m tremendous scared of a new manager into this club without a board.
If the banner was Kroenke OUT, I was ready to pay my percentage.
They are no where near the worst.
We have had far too many seasons of the same mistakes, the same under whelming players and the same under whelming signings.
Our supporters have been some of the most tolerant in the PL.[quote=“Maxi_Gooner, post:4909, topic:125, full:true”]

I agree.
The problem is that he doesn’t often attend matches so he won’t be there to read it, and if he was there, he couldn’t care less anyway.
Yeah don’t get the hate unless you hate him for:
a) not acting to remove AW or
b) not putting in a bunch of money of his own (i.e., operate at a loss)
Otherwise, he is irrelevant at worst.
Kroenke out isn’t going to happen. Don’t even ponder the idea. It’s his club, not ours. Nobody has the right to expect him to give it up. The only thing protesting his involvement might do is make him come to 0 games instead of 3 every year.
Wenger out can happen and it can have a positive effect on our football so that should happen. If he won’t leave then maybe he does need to hear some protest because if everyone shuts up and just sings one arsene wenger then he’d think nothing was wrong and would have signed the deal already. He’s now got to ask himself can I walk out onto that pitch every saturday knowing that most of the fans want me to go?
Finished reading through the article above that Burgundy posted - people should read it. It states it perfectly. People need to think about what they are really complaining about…
Yeah that blog post is pretty much spot on. I haven’t got an issue with ST, never understood the hate towards him. The club is extremely well run, there’s a solid basis off the pitch for things on the pitch to thrive.
As for his lack of pressure on Wenger, it’s more than understandable considering Wenger stature in football and all the things he’s done for the club before SK took over. I think SK is intimidated by Wenger and his standing, it’d be inappropriate to sack him or treat him roughly.
What i want to know is apparently it has been said in an article recently (cant remember where i read it or if it is true or not) that wenger is going for a different training routine to adapt his game, i wonder what this is…is it going to be that someone is going to train how to play with some defense or something extremely groundbreaking for us like that? Or is this all a steaming pile of horseshit?
Bingo.
Who is going to believe that after more than twenty seasons Wenger is actually going to do something different.
It would be an admission that he had been doing something wrong, and there is one thing we all know about Wenger, is that he thinks he never does anything wrong.
It is always someone else fault.
Of course it’s not horeshit. Of course Wenger is going to try everything to hold on to his job and ‘evolve’. The question is if it’ll make any difference and we all know the answer to that question.
Stop confusing bog standard PR with what goes on behind closed doors.
Now is the time to sign that contract Wenger. Strike before the haters sober up and are still cheering.
A plane with a banner is less embarrassing than getting beat 10-2 in a champions league last 16 tie.
That plane will say nothing about the fan base, only takes one cunt with enough money to make it happen.
Getting fed up with the moans about protesting. People dont want banners, marches, chants, ffs. Tell you what lets do nothing and watch re runs of the invincibles, keep Wenger and become the new Liverpool and talk history.
Stran Kroenke is totally bot interested about Arsenal. If anyone bought the book which celebrates the years of Arsène with us, can read about the first meeting between the shareholder and the team.
Kroenke met the players for the first time during the 2011/12 pre season, three years later than he joined the board.
Him, his son, the other old members, Gazidis, let Wenger alone. Free and alone to decide, to be the punchball, to be the only one target for the criticisms, to be an umbrella for them.
The interview with BT Sport clarified that, but a part of fanbase refuse to understand.
Arsène Wenger helped us to be a great club because before him we were nothing (why Aston Villa and Nottingham won the CL?), to have an identity, to put this club in the future with the stadium and an excellent financial situation, to win 15 trophies (ask to Liverpool fans if he would like to change their last 20 years with ours - and they were better than us and a giant club in Europe).
He needs to go because doesn’t deserve a worst fanbase like our and a fake board. I wish him to join another great club and win everything.
We will replace him with another manager (top class or not) but the big problems will not be fixed until the moment which this board will not leave or change methods.
I’m not interested if Arsène will sign or not another contract because he can’t remain for another double decade. It’s time to watch the enemy in the face and pray to return a great club.
Before Wenger we were nothing? That’s usually an indication that you as a fan have little appreciation for our history too.
And secondly, you are as guilty as anyone of calling for Wenger’s head following a defeat so I’m not sure why after a few days you turn into his biggest defender again.
And lastly, Wenger has free reign to do what he wants at Arsenal. Kroenke and co. do not stand in his way and the notion that they are in anyway responsible for our current position doesn’t sit well with me. This is Wenger’s club from top to bottom.
