Arsène Wenger

Better that than winning some no name Cup competition that’s no better than Audi Cup won by Tottenham

Arsenal with 100 years of history didn’t achieve anything close to what Wenger achieved in his stint.

Tells you everything about this club which is no better than Crystal Palace

Arsenal were the most famous team in the world in the 30s. Try again.

So how did Galatasaray go then?

HOLY FUCK

How could I have missed this?

HOLY FUCK. My apologies.

If you don’t know the history allow me to help you.

Arsenal wouldn’t even be in top flight if not for bribery & corruption. How is that for a history lesson?

The world cup wouldn’t of been held in Qatar for the same reason.
Who does your guy work for now? Remind me.

Wenger didn’t take the bribes but Arsenal indulged in doing what Qatar did.

Despicable club if ever there was one.

Didn’t care, don’t care.

I have never heard any Arsenal fan cry about that final even once on this forum while they have cried about losing the CL final n number of times.
Tell you everything about the importance of that cup.

Too busy losing you mean. I think Arsene Wenger might be the only coach to have lost a final in all three European Cup competitions. That’s a treble of some sorts

He had a fully evolved George Weah and couldn’t win the Cup Winners Cup back in 91-92. Lost in the finals to Werder Bremen. George Graham showed him how to win a European competition two years later. A true winner

George Graham must have bribed UEFA and quite frankly given the history of George Graham, Parma(an Italian club) and Arsenal; I won’t be surprise if the match was fixed.

Corrupt Manager
Corrupt English club
and Corrupt Italian club

Perfect setup

Coach of that Bremen team was Otto Rehhagel who won the Bundesliga a year later and would later pull off Greece 2004.

Problem with ignorant people is they don’t understand the depth of quality European football used to have. Winning a CWC in that time frame you were coming up against teams that weren’t so massively behind the other top teams in Europe the way smaller clubs are behind European “super clubs” these days.

Look at some of the winners in the 90s of the CWC and UEFA Cup they are genuinely teams that would have been competing in the CL before UEFA embarrassingly decided to make the competition an open invite to about 60 thousand teams from European footballs top leagues.

Arsene Wenger and George Graham are both great managers and excellent custodians of this famous club.

Anyone who thinks otherwise needs their heads tested and should piss off over to CuntCafe.

Yeah for starters more teams actually had a good/great player to work with. Fiorentina had a player like Batistuta ffs for almost a decade.

Now we watch Bayern with…Eric fucking Maxim Choupo-Moting :joy:

Italy you could probably look at:

Sampdoria, Fiorentina, Parma, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Inter, Roma, Napoli (very early 90s)

As being the big teams of the 90s. Absolutely crazy depth comparative to the shit heap it’s become.

Yeah. On our course we had Torino (who were a well drilled unit, without an “outstanding” player, but still a tough team to circumnavigate), PSG (boasting Rai) and a final against Parma (with an attack of Brolin, Asprilla and Zola)

The only “mugs” we played were Standard Liege.

Again with this nonsense. You are being ignorant here.

Arsenal faced Odense, Standard Leige, Torino, PSG & Parma.
These are not European juggernauts.
Parma is the only reputable opponent here.
