Arsenal Vs Wolves (PL)

Anyone outside the other top four members would sit back try to counter; teams like Crystal Palace, wolves, Watford etc would try and have ago

Happy about the goal but am not celebrating. Long fucking way to go yet.

Hey bud. Question. How often would you guys do similarly under Max?

Like he’s a good manager and all, but it’s a similar philosophy innit? But you obviously watch Milan more, so your opinion carries more weight

Once again Torierra playing CF.

Not watching it but glad we’re ahead foing t take a wild stab in the dark and suggest we dint deserve it

Shouldn’t torerria be at the base?

We earned it. Well worked.

what a ball Ceballos. That’s where he should be, middle of the park.

Not comfortable seeing Torreira doing more attacking than defending.

We lost the 11/12 scudetto Cos of this shit. It was ours for the taking with the best squad in the country. There’s a fiorentina game that sticks out, not long after the ghost muntari goal.

He just tried to hold on when we didn’t have the players for it fit in that match, and we lost.

And you absolutely don’t have the players for it either. You should be killing teams off, with the attacking talent at your disposal. But poor tactics with 3 dms… we’ve all had this discussion now for weeks and weeks and weeks.

At least with that Milan now and then there were some serial match-winners. Ibra, Seedorf would almost single handedly drag us to victory when we were barely offering anything all match. That 10/11 scudetto is as much ibra’s as allegris, he brought the winning mentality back to some players who’d won everything many times and had maybe got a bit jaded.

Looking much better with Ozil in the squad, or is it just me?

Glad to hear your perspective. I thought that at the time too.

I’ll be using this post when our fans ask for him don’t you worry :henry2:

Back to the game, Ozil is just different levels.

We’re creating more chances with Ozil, that’s for sure.

Liverpool and Man City losing to Aston Villa and Southampton :grimacing:

Auba is basically in that Ibra role right now, but Emery is a whole lot worse.

I see our diamond is now:

Guendouzi

Ozil Ceballos

Torreira

:arteta:

Genuinely, why the fuck is Torreira the #10 in our diamond??!!

Very creative, intelligent player connects many players together, more at ten.

Apologies for tongue in cheek, this isn’t aimed at you, your stupid manager.

@Electrifying yeah he’s a born winner, not on ibra’s peak scale (especially that 10/11 season i think he was his best then) whatsoever but a fucking phenomenal player (and inspiring character) nonetheless.

After basically one and a half seasons. What a boss. Fuck me, it has been so long since we’ve had a striker of this calibre. It’s almost the one, single thing I enjoy about watching us these days.

And Martinelli of course, who is going to be a hybrid of the two Ronaldos, but better than both.

This is probably the closest we’ll get to a common sense lineup under Emery.

But Torreira at #10 ruins it. Guy is pointless there, might as well not be on the pitch. Just running around.

But there, in his natural position wins the ball back and starts an attack.
