Arsenal vs Tottenham (Premier League)

Yep. Is he injured?

Interesting that Özil is left out again.

What the actual…

I don’t think the ultra defensive approach will be good enough against Spurs but Emery clearly sees something in this system.

What is going on with Özil man :weary:

350k/w well invested :xhaka:

He wants to start with this shape and we can’t have Auba out wide in this match, he’s too low touch

I agree with it tbh, we can use Laca as a supersub later on cause we dont have much else on the bench

It shows ypu Emery is very clever compared with Wenger who always played the same line-up regardless of the opponent.

That defence frightens the hell out of me

I’m much happier that it’s a back three at least tbh

With Ozil, it has to be an attitude problem.

Wenger probably placated and protected him. Emery isn’t. That’s my theory

Ozil pulled out of training midweek iirc. He might be nursing something.

Ffs Mkhi starting I don’t like that, but at least Iwobi is there

To be fair to Mhiki, he can be really dangerous, he just needs to get the end product right

And rightly so. No one is better than the team.

Think this is the start of the end for Özil sadly. Emery just doesn’t like him

he is injured

Source?

That is a concerning lineup, looks like we’re parking the bus at home. Ozil not even being on the bench is a weird one.

Either he’s hurt or Emery just doesn’t think he’s good enough which is odd because he was captain at one point this season!

Ramsey and Lacazette coming off the bench is fine I guess. Overall I’m not really feeling too positive with Kane going up against Mustafi.

“back spasms”
