If they keep this pace up they’ll finish with 4 points! Funnily enough I’m sure we did derby 5-0 in the home game that season.
Tbf to them, Arsenal and Newcastle aside, they’ve held on against most sides.
Almost pulled an upset against City, Spurs and Man Utd.
Eddie for MOTM surely?
Who else could it be!
Pretty damn satisfying day all round, got some guys who need more minutes out on the pitch and Eddie grabbing that hat trick in Jesus’s absence was perfect. Great to see us build up the GD as well, you simply have to do that in these games if you’re serious about challenging.
Only downsides out there were Smith Rowe who has surely just missed the best chance he’ll ever get to impress again and Havertz who I consistently forgot was even on the pitch.
Good night to be having Japanese food for dinner! Super Tom!
What are you, his mother? I’ve praised him when he played well and criticized him when he hasn’t.
I suppose that has some truth, think they have a wild injury list also atm tbh
You constantly harp on him and post your usual negative drivel in general.
It gets old.
5-0 win without having to leave second gear and also got to rest a few vital players. Great game all-round.
A Kai goal would have made this a perfect win, pretty damn near perfect as it is.
Too bad there aren’t more teams like Sheffield United in the Prem.
2 more goals from corners today, I think that is 6 for us now this season. I’d be surprised if we aren’t top of that stat in the PL
Well, there’s also Bournemouth, Luton and Burnley and guess who has played all 3 of those sides as well as Sheffield…
Yeah because I don’t think he’s good enough. I’m hardly alone in that camp.
Mute me if you don’t wanna read it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
He’s a backup. Since you don’t seem to comprehend that nor can you understand what a backup’s role is, I’ll move on instead of taking to a wall.
Fantastic for the GD and we got to rest some gassed players too. Thats a perfect day at the office when you play at home against these kind of teams.
Good job lads
Great day all round really. Rested heaps of our top guys, 5 scored, none conceded and didn’t have to get out of 2nd gear. We still don’t look as convincing as we did last season but 8 wins 2 draws and still unbeaten, looking close to sealing CL qualification as well, it’s hard to be unhappy with where we are at considering the last 15 years or so as a whole.
First back to back clean sheet at the Emirates for us since December 2021 lol. That’s crazy.
We were pretty strong at home last season but that stat is honestly pretty embarrassing really. Almost 2 years and 38 games or so in that time and we haven’t managed to keep 2 clean sheets in a row. Hope that improves this season.
