I thought we were playing Olympiacos, not Olympiakos?

Never now which one it is haha. But on my Phone, subscribed to Arsenal’s fixture iCal it shows with a k. I suppose we write it with a k in Dutch.

I don’t care enough to change it.

Hahah, for what is worth for a Greek either makes sense, and I’d argue most see the one with k as the normal one.
I would’ve never used the one with c until I saw that’s how they branded on Wiki and other media.

6-0. Obviously.

Will we see heavy rotation here, or a near full-strength team?

My pick:

Raya;
White, Mosquera, Gabriel, MLS;
Odegaard, Rice, Eze;
Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli

Got a feeling Zubimendi might be rested for this one. Could see Norgaard starting in midfield too, but went for a slightly more attacking prediction.

I think Gabriel might be rested, Mosquera and Saliba to start.

Hard to pick a side for this one. Wouldn’t mind going full rotation but imagine Arteta plays most of the team from Sunday with a couple of changes like MLS at LB, White at RB.

Definitely think MLS should get a start here. Need to keep him involved.

Nwaneri completely left out yesterday, which was odd. Wonder if he gets involved.

I’d start him too in the Odegaard role. Be a nice show of faith for him. Hope it’s not a fitness issue that kept him out yesterday

Completely forgot about him. I’d be happy for him to get a start here tbh whether it’s wide or in the middle.

That’s the thing with deeper squads.
There’s games where Nwaneri was the first player to come on and help, there’s others where he hasn’t even made an appearance.
Even MLS has been through that this season despite finishing last season so strong.

Just need to be patient and grab their opportunities, they’ll come.

Near enough full strength is what we should and what Mikel will do.

Odd change like MLS for Cala and Martinelli for Trossard is fine but points on the board early make the whole campaign easier.

Plus it’s only foggin West Ham at home on the weekend.

If the squad is being used right I don’t think there are many times where wholesale change should be the way. We should be able to go strong with the squad we have almost every game and still get enough players rested to keep it up.

Raya

White Saliba Gabriel MLS

Eze Zubimendi Rice

Saka Gyokeres Martinelli.

Triple sub of Nwaneri, Odegaard, Norgaard at 60mins as they all need minutes with Eze, Saka and Rice wrapped up for the weekend.

I think we should see a cameo from Dowman.

Tickets for CL once again going to non-ballot entries.

Really does make me think we’ve got a right entitled glory hunting lot at times. If it was a QF game you’d not even get a sniff of a ticket even if the kick off was 2pm in the afternoon.

Olympiakos at 8pm? Nahhh not about it mate… :thinking:

Anybody got two tickets for this going at reasonable price?
