Honestly I donât know if anyone can save this back line.
Wenger, Emery and Ljungberg have all failed with it.
Clear to me at this point itâs a personnel problem and that all of our defenders are just embarrassingly mid-lower table quality.
tbh the players are bad, but there is zero structure without the ball lol.
Guendo, as much as I love him, is, never where he is meant to be without the ball lol.
We need a hell of a lot of coaching. This plays like a team that has been bereft of any kind of plan for a long while, which is true.
Poch could probably still get some improvement, even from this âbrains trustâ

On the surface this looks to be true.
But imo it could also be that all 3 were very flawed.
Wenger was washed by the end, Emery was a smalldicker whose only strategy was âpanicâ and Freddie is trying to patch this mess up with the tealady and kit man as his assistants.
The defensive recruitment has been awful, but these defenders have basically had the footballing equivalent to being thrown around different absuive foster homes.
