Arsenal vs Man Utd (PL) 3-1

This is the tricky part

If Havertz starts and has another shocker, people are going to have a field day… and rightly so tbh. I want Vieira/ESR. But I guess Arteta knows something we don’t.

Your prediction is pretty much what’s going to happen.

On the other hand, if we start ESR/Vieira and have a shit game and lost, what is next?

Back to plan B or we need a plan C then?

It is not Arteta trying to prove a point, or the fans trying to prove Havertz is not going to work.
It is about how we are implement a plan and how to execute it; and give the trial period some time.

We try a few games here and doesn’t work, then try something new again and doesn’t work, are we switching plans every other few games?

Well eventually, we’ll need to stick to something I agree. If ESR/Vieira starts and it doesn’t work, I’m equally as convinced that the result would’ve been the same or worse with Havertz in their place instead.

I’ll trust the manager to make the call… but how many games should an underperforming player get before others get some minutes?

Arteta said it in his first few interviews in preseason…

It will take 55 games for the new midfield to work

Of course I hope this is just exaggerating.

I will give it till December and then review. It is just plain stupid to judge after every single game and then draw conclusion.

It also depends on our results and standing.

Absolutely need to win this tomorrow or we’re already 4-5 points behind city despite them playing at about 60 %.

This is my worry too, tomorrow is a must win game. Already 4-5 points behind otherwise.

Probably something about Partey being injured

Told what?

About Partey being injured. And half the forum jumped on his throat

What, in this thread?!

In the other thread I think he linked to. But I think he deleted the post, so can’t find it.

So he didnt tell us, but just linked a tweet from a wannabe journo twat? That is not credit worthy. The abuse was justified.

Judging from the context of it. I think he mentioned Partey being injured before the news broke out.

He edited it out though because there wasn’t any official information about it.

The same way we smashed Fulham? :tomi:
