Arsenal vs Liverpool (PL) 3-1

Was that the one where Havertz’s first touch was like a trampoline and then he got cleared out? Because I kinda thought the bad first touch meant they weren’t going to call anything.

I think @Bavin has said it better than I could there, but also, I felt the ref was compelled to book our players immediately after he’d booked one of theirs. It was stupidly uncanny.

(See the yellows for White and Gabriel. You can’t tell me they were legit?)

Doesnt change the fact that McCallister went through Kai to get to the ball. Fact is if he hadn’t have done that, Kai is through on goal.

This is when he dribbled into the box, the ball was right at his feet when MacAllister slides in and misses it and hooks his leg. Still have no idea how it wasn’t a penalty.

Wouldn’t trade today’s win for progress in the cup.

These 3 points were massive and hopefully do wonders for us in these last 15 games of the season.

Yeah I guess. I didn’t have a huge issue w the way the ref called the game. I thought it was plenty physical.

And he didn’t do that thing some refs do when they start too lenient and then try to retake control when things are already out of hand.

I think refs should just referee every game like it’s a North London derby.

Because so much fuss has been going in the media when Coote (VAR referee) was appointed for this match. He was on VAR in our game at Anfield, and the press wouldn’t shut up about his decision to not award Liverpool a penalty for the Ødegaard handball when he slipped… So, I believe he wanted to even things out. Pathetic.

Which team is going to be the first to offer the apple vision pro experience ?

A foul is a foul.
I don’t understand your logic.

In the end, didn’t matter Kai had the ball a bit ahead of him or not, the contact was legit, and defender never touched the ball. The whole contact was not to get the ball but take the player down.

Just remembered Scousers now can’t claim that fugazi Invincibles run anymore.
“We’re undefeated lad, if it wasn’t for the referees screwing when we played Spurs, I don’t accept that as a defeat”

If…

Fuck what if.

I agree. Maybe because it is Havertz who clutches his head everytime he goes down. Doesn’t earn any credit from the refs and makes him more hatier to me.

Now that I’ve had a chance to rewatch the condensed match, recovered from the depression that hits after a long run (iykyk), I gotta say we were really good value for the three points today.
