Arsenal vs Liverpool (PL) 0-0

:pires2:

Should just let Ekitike recover really, they’re out of the title race. Would be a risky move by the bald cunt. But he is indeed fighting for his job.

Then it’ll be just Gakpo up front

It’s Indy.

Wirtz Gakpo Szoboszlai/Frimpong

Maybe Jones could play as a winger too.

Either way, not a super impressive front line and their options all round are very limited atm. Only Chiesa and Ngumoha among other options and they aren’t starting surely.

We shouldn’t underestimate them in the slightest, as those are still very dangerous players, but yeah, we’re going into this as massive favourites and I’d be disappointed if we get anything less 3 points.

Saw this comment on YouTube from Slot’s conference when he was asked what our strongpoint was and agree with it.

What did Slot say?

Expecting this.

Szobo will be a nightmare again wherever he plays, up and down the pitch like a monster. Wish Cala was fit to help pin him back and prevent any double team on Leo.

Basically our strengths are everything.

That we have no weak links, which is quite a compliment from Slot.

Perhaps he’s just getting his excuses in before we play them.

I wouldn’t take a draw if it was offered to me now. I’d be disappointed.

I want us to slap them even more after hearing Szobo highlighting that we’re playing the champions(mind you the interviewer did instigate that).

I agree, especially after thrashing an in form Aston Villa, who are better than Liverpool.

Although the pressure is on us being at home, they have got a few players out, so we should be winning this fairly comfortably.

It sounds like Calafiori and Mosquera should be back soon. The FA Cup tie probably comes too early but it would be great to have them available as rotation options in the (largely meaningless) CL matches.

Let’s hope Storm Goretti doesn’t affect tomorrow night.
London and the South are only getting blustery winds and rain during the evening, though that will turn to a more wintry mix for a while in the early hours of Friday.

Liverpool and their fans will be coming through an Amber weather alert area with potential blizzards across the Midlands. It’s likely the Premier League are considering whether to postpone but will make a decision in the morning based on the ever-changing macro detail of where snow will actually fall.

Hopefully the storm fucks off a bit as otherwise I’ll have an expensive and wasted journey :face_exhaling:

Oh shit, I hope it takes the French route then, the storm could still fuck off South and leave the UK in the colder, drier air. It’s getting less likely as time ticks on.

Maybe the EPL doesn’t give a shit about supporters and the match will go ahead, they’ve got form when it comes to the fans of the game they “run”.

Generally speaking, the games tend to go ahead unless there’s a danger to fans in or around the stadium.

I think it would actually be for the cops or local safety teams to call for the most part.

Yeah, it’s usually the police or local authority that applies pressure to postpone if there isn’t an issue with the playing surface.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens, the trains from and to Liverpool got totally fucked earlier this week due to the weather after less than 2cm of snow.
