Arsenal vs Liverpool (PL) 0-0

City place twice before we play again. My worry is they get it down to 1 point and the pressure is on us again.

you jinxed them

Just win this one and I will feel much much better and I might relax for a while.

An absolute must win.
They are in dogshot form atm.

Almost 10 days until our next PL game after this (against Forest)… We’ll probably rest most of the starters against Portsmouth with probably some rotation against Chelsea too, so we need to go on this ā€œmini breakā€ with a positive result in the back of our skulls.

I remember in 22/23 around the same time we went 8 points clear after City dropped points at the Etihad against Lamp’s Everton. We then dropped points against Newcastle, gave that opening away. We then proceeded by dropping more points against Everton and Brentford.
By the time we faced them we gave away our lead and City were well and truly back in the title picture and had the mental advantage.

City have some really tough games in the next month. If we can sustain a winning run in this period, I can see the gap opening even further which will deliver a massive blow to City.
Own goals, set pieces, pens, ugly performances, I don’t care, get the 3 points any way you can.

Let’s fucking kill them this time.

Would love us to spank them but at this point I just want a simple win, 3 bastard points.

I feel there’s a good opportunity here to make another statement win.

Can only mean one thing. Worried.

The loss at Anfield was such an annoyance at the start of the season and just felt like a sucker punch to our campaign only for them to go and be totally shite the rest of the season.

I really hope we beat them convincingly at home.

Won’t factor the Anfield result much into this as we weren’t into our groove back then and Liverpool were still riding on the adrenaline from the title win. And the game was still tight regardless of the result.

The tables have turned now and we are pretty solid with as close to our best XI as possible available, while they are doing pretty poorly all round. Confident of a win. Hopeful of a smashing. 4-1 Arsenal.

They are not that good and we should beat them.

But will we? Worried

Liverpool will raise it on Thursday and early goal for us will break their spirit though. Let’s not give them any confidence.
