Well at least we gained a point and didn’t lose to Liverpool. Hopefully rest a lot of the team now against Portsmouth and Chelsea an first 11 comes back fresh for forest.

Pretty much both games vs Liverpool could have and should have ended up as 0-0 draws.
Two teams (or should I say managers) more concerned with cancelling each other out than winning.
Liverpool completely saturated the midfield. Most of the second half it felt like 4 or 5 vs 3. Their energy levels as high as they will ever be this season. But zero attacking threat.
Very much the exact same story from Anfield. A wonder goal from a freekick the only difference.

Incredible Gabriel didn’t get that one better at the end.
Should have done the subs earlier. We obviously lost a ton of intensity in the second half, right from the start.
Should have done that Madueke/Eze sub 10 mins earlier. Madueke brought a lot of good things on that right flank.
One big issue - we still don’t have a 9.
Wish Havertz could get finally fit but it’s not looking good.
Players couldn’t give a fuck tonight. Didn’t see desire to win the game from them at all.

MLS can play against Portsmouth and in the CL but any match with real stakes and he is going to get targeted relentlessly and cost us. Hopefully Hincapie’s injury isn’t too bad.
The striker situation is genuinely dire. Jesus has been worse than Gyok recently and that’s hard to do.

A truly underwhelming and shit performance. Gutted that we didn’t take the opportunity to terminate City’s dreams.
We’ve given hope back to them with that awful performance. So bad, like really bad. I never expected such a terrible showing from our players, especially considering we are almost at max strength.
6 points clear is still a strong position but feels like we’ve failed a test tonight.
