Elneny is safer (more direct replacement) but if Lokonga canât handle a newly promoted team with Xhaka and Ode around him, then he should be on loan elsewhere.
I was gonna make this point as well. If Arteta chooses Elneny here then it says it all about where Lokonga stands right now.
As much as I like Elneny he shouldnât be more than an emergency option.

He must have gotten arrested again then, as Arteta said everyone trained yesterday and was fit for the game today.

Tierney has been out on matchday a couple times for us. Not uncommon.
Could be Arsenal not wanting to risk him considering his issues.
If this Partey thing is about you know what I would send a 50m bid straight to Leicester for Ndidi first thing in the morning.
