^ Ox - Xhaka as the mid two would have hardly filled us with confidence tbh… not to downplay Ox’ last couple of games but he’s hardly a defender in our team.
I would have loved seeing Welbeck start, but I guess it’s just too early for such a high pressure game. Outside of the cup he’s barely played 45 minutes of football for us since his return.
