Arsenal vs Brighton (CC) 2-0

I love an Øde høøked pass, do we have a player that can offer this tonight? Ethan? Dowman?

I took a quick look at a Brighton forum and they all seem to expect Hurzeler to play his strongest side. It makes sense, they’re not in Europe and a cup run would be a season highlight.

I think this is a very tricky one. We really need to win the next two PL matches and keep the pressure on Liverpool and City during some tough fixtures for them. But our non-injured attackers are running on fumes and it feels like one more injury would tip us into crisis mode.

Saka and Dowman to split the RW minutes, maybe a half each or 60-30.

I would start Gyok up front and with Merino in midfield, then on 60 minutes put Merino up front and give Rice 30 in midfield.

Trossard and Eze to split LW in some fashion.

Nwaneri to play 90 or close to it in attacking midfield.

Norgaard to start and keep playing unless we’re in trouble and need to chase the match, in which case bring in Zubimendi.

White, Mosquera, Gabriel, and MLS in defense. Bring on Hincapie around 60-70 minutes for either Gabriel or MLS depending on fitness and the scoreline.

Have done a 180 on this (or a 360 if you want to say gone full circle). Let’s go pretty strong. Kepa starts as do White and Hincapie but keep the majority of the spine.

Kepa

White

Mosquerra

Gabriel

Hincapie

Zubi

Merino

Nwaneri

Saka

Gyokeres

Martinelli

Looking forward to the game tonight.
Nice comfy 3-0 home win is on the cards.
Martinelli with a brace and a Brighton og early on.

I think we’ll win but with a stronger team than most hope for, and we’ll see an impact in the next week or so with players either tired or out.

DOWMAN STARTS

Harriman Annous??

Top tier bench if needed

That’s an insane rotation. He’d probably rotate Eze too if he could.

Disappointing if this isn’t a palindrome joke.

Shocked by that line up to be honest

In a good or bad way? I’d say I’m shocked in a good way, previous years we’d be seeing a lot of that bench starting

Excellent rotation, love it

Really strong bench too. Big chance for Dowman and the debutant

I knew it. Gyokeres can’t play all the time

Worried but glad that Arteta is capable of going mad with a full team rotation.

Arteta really has put out a reserve team but it still should be enough, so I’ll go 2-1 with Merino and Nwanen to score.
