It doesn’t have to be academy players, this is the perfect game to rotate in the fringe players, guys like Hincapie, Norgaard, Merino, Mosquera need to tick over and be ready to step in if needed. These games are perfect for that.

It pains me not to rest Zubi or Gabriel but Brighton are a good side and if we fully change our midfield or back line I think we’ll really struggle.
I really hope Arteta has learnt from previous seasons about playing our team into the ground and really does actually make some changes.

Brighton have been poor this season, should be a formality even allowing for 4-5 changes.
3-0 to The Arsenal.
They’ve beaten City, Chelsea, and Newcastle. Not a poor side at all they’ve just played a murderous schedule in the league.

got a funny feeling we arent gonna go much further in this competition heavily rotated and Brighton will go full strength.
It’s a big game for the non regulars. They go out here, that’s less game time for them this season.
