The problem is we donāt have a threat wide on the left, so the defender can sag middle, helping outā¦ When Martinelli runs towards middle, he ends up clogging it up with Xhaka, Ode, Partey, etc. Need a speedy defender or at least a willing runner wide every once in a while to loosen up the defense (like how White is being deployed).
Otherwise it is too predictable and the amount of space to defend is too low.
