It makes sense. If Saka is fit enough to give us 60, play him. He’s a much bigger goal threat than Noni.

Means they get an early night, and fly back this morning for training.

Eze back in training. Bit still a long list of absentees. Including Odegaard @Calum

My assumption is that Calafiori is just being given some extra rest after a hectic week and Odegaard is probably being carefully managed in training.

Thats not engagement worthy though

Eze coming back is brilliant. We will need him in the coming games. Bournemouth is probably too early though.

Out again?

yeah this is gonna be his last season here…..not up to the pace of the EPL anymore and is really unreliable.

is that his 5th or 6th injury this season now?

he is literally injured more than he isnt now, just not worth keeping him around anymore. When he is not injured it takes an age for him to get into any sort of form and he gets nowhere near before he is out again.

That’s a hammer blow if he is out again, even for a short while. The two most important games for the league are in the next ten days.

People like to shit on him but he’s essential to us really controlling matches and that’s what we do when we are at our very best.

Obviously, I do not want any of our players injured. However, if the news was that Gyokeres or Havertz was out, I’d be devastated. With Odegaard, think we’ll be fine without him.

Just copped the shirt and my brain immediately read the logo as ā€˜Play Better’. Sorry.

Did you watch the Man City game when we played with no attacking midfielder and could not progress the ball?

Eze won’t be able to play 90 minutes every match. Merino at best will return in mid-May for a game or two. Nwaneri is gone for the rest of the season. We can try players like Saka and Dowman in that role but those are big experiments for a run in.

You’re right. Bournemouth aren’t City though, Eze is close and Havertz is in form. Maybe Rice and Zubi need to be instructed to play forward more.

Is it really? We have played 90 percent of the season without him

We had Merino and Nwaneri for a lot of that time though.

Play MLS in that position
